I mean it's a motel but the room was totally fine and clean for what it is! The furniture was cute, and the pool and hot tub were sooo fun to hang out in every night we were there.
I am having a tough time giving a rating for this hotel. I would give the pool area and BBQ area a 4 out of 5 stars but the room a 2. The location would be a 5 star rating. The room itself was tired looking. I am pretty sure the room we had was an old 1 bedroom apartment converted to a 2 bedroom hotel room - no door on the 'master' suite. There were burnt out bulbs and a bathroom door that wouldn't close and a balcony door that was difficult to get closed. If we were longer than a couple of nights we would have had to get them addressed. Having the kitchen would be a nice touch for longer stays. Maybe I would stay again.
This Motel is adorable. The room was renovated to have a 50s dinner feel to it and I loved it. The colors where brighter then most hotels and it made it feel much more homey and lively then the average hotel feels. The location is great. The patio/pool area looked rather welcoming though I didn't have a chance to use it. The staff were friendly and everything was very clean.
Been going here with my family since I was 6 years old; now near 50. This is a fantastic family hotel. We often meet the same people each year and have had wonderful times sitting under the covered patio having a laugh chatting and letting the world go by. The pool is great for all ages; has a shallow end you can teach the little ones to swim and a deep end to challenge the older kids with deep diving contests. The building has been well maintain over many many years, it's not fancy but has all the amenities that a family would need: kitchen, separate bed rooms for kids or parents pick nick tables, grassed area and of course the great pool. You're also close to the beach and across the street from a fun park with mini golf, go carts and a bunch of fun activities. It's a quick walk to a number of popular restaurants, beach store with ice cream and a neat paddle boat museum. Downtown Penticton is a 30 minute stroll along the beach. If you come late August you might run into me and my family, come say 'hi' and have a glass of wine and let the world go by.
We love this old fashion motel! It just has a great feel and the owners are so friendly. Its also one of the best locations in Penticton.Its rated as a 2 Star motel but I would still give it a five.
