Not bad but the cashiers seem to really like to chat and it slows down the lines. It's nice to be friendly but sometimes we are in a bit of a hurry.
We usually find what we want but if you ever need some help, you're out of luck. Upon getting to the checkout, the (newish) person did not know how to use our gifted prepaid credit cards. He called over his superior and she did not know much more than he did. She said there must not be anything left on the cards because she could not get them to work. We paid by debit and headed home. My wife immediately called Visa and between the cards that we were told had nothing on them, were told there was $90+ left on them. Training staff, especially supervisors, is obviously not part of their training. If we had not had others funds available, as many do not, we would have walked out, never to be embarrassed like that again. I would rather pay a bit more and have confidence that I would not have to deal with such incompetence. Walmart lost a good customer!
As with all Wal-Mart's it is well stocked with substandard items. Useful for many items though. Lots of groceries, meats, well priced .
Can't find a few specialty things others online claim Walmart carries, but mostly good. Can always find help in pharmacy. Not so much in other departments.
Walmart is a great store but it would be even better if their self checkouts accepted cash too (like safeways does)
