By far the best Greek food I've had in a long time. Group of 7, 2 people ordered meals the remainder shared Theo's platter for 2 and an appetizer. 2 excellent bottles of BC wine and the total was 200 buck. A steal for the qualify of food. The server was polite, efficient and there when you needed her. Great atmosphere. One of those memorable meals.
We just had our 12 anniversary dinner at Theos and it was amazing! They gave us the Romeo and Juliette balcony which was a perfect private place for 2! The food was great, we had moussaka and lamb chops. Seriously the best I have ever had!!! We are incredibly picky when we eat out because we are very good at cooking ourselves. But we have yet to perfect these 2 recipes at home... and I Not sure we will, Theos is so special. Its like being transported to Greece for a couple hours.
My husband, who can be picky, says the meal was one of the best he's had. Definitely in the top five for the both of us. The portions are huge, making for a great lunch the next day. Wonderful staff, it definitely has a home town feel.
The food and and atmosphere are the best in Penticton. The portions are huge so my husband and I enjoy a few different salads then order only one entree to share. The family- owned restaurant has been welcoming back customers for 2 or 3 generations now.
Traditional barn type decor with a European feel to it. Definitely not your standard plastic and steel all too common in North America. Menu clearly Greek but wide range including large vegetarian/vegan options. Portions are generous without being ridiculous. Good wine choices. Service from good to excellent. A very popular local restaurant so worthwhile reserving ahead. Unhurried atmosphere - unlike many places you have the feeling that at Theo's they actually want you to relax and enjoy your meal.
