This last weekend was Peach Festival in Penticton. Lots to do,see and participate in. The venue was outstanding as the organizes did an outstanding job.Koodo's to Penticton.
I went to three concerts at Peachfest this year: Kim Mitchell, April Wine, and George Canyon! All three concerts were great and different, the outdoor venue is fabulous though it gets crowded for popular events. Last year I saw The Powder Blues Band in the same venue and bought an autographed cd. My one complaint is about the littering by fellow concert attendees and that there are not enough garbage cans or recycling bins. I am looking forward to next year and seeing more than just the music! A great reason to visit or live in Penticton!!!!
City does a great job of staging special events here, and the rest of the time it is a marvelous green space with a killer view of Okanagan Lake. Short stroll over a footbridge gets you to the Japanese Garden and even more greenspace.
Fantastic spot for a summer vacation for anyone in Western Canada. The beach in Penticton is extremely well taken care of a cleaned every morning and through out the day.
Great tunes, brings back memories of love. Could use a few more flavors of drinks though
