Visit it every year and it brings back great memories! Has a beach, a spray park, a playground, and food. There is a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Has free WiFi. They also open the gate at 6 am and close it at 10 pm. You can ask to get them open earlier and later if you need to go somewhere. Very friendly and kind staff. I definitely recommend it.
STAY AWAY from this campground. First of all it is $40 per night to live like a homeless person. It is right beside a very busy road and is very loud. The camping spots are tiny (not much bigger than a parking stall) and extremely close together. The bathrooms are locked by keycode to keep the homeless out. We immediately said "Nope" and went to let the office know we would like to go to another campsite. We had booked for 5 nights which was a lot so we thought we would see if we could get some of that money back. The office was offended we were leaving and ended up in a bartering situation over how much of a refund we would get. Ended up getting back only half. After waiting for 30 minutes for their credit card terminal to work we finally left $110 lighter. Never again.
Great place to camp with Family. Showers are $1 for 5 minutes, bathrooms are pretty good.
Quite pricey, 20cad per person is too much for what camp is offering. It is close to busy road which is noisy. Otherwise location is good. Staff is nice and friendly. You need to pay extra for hot water, even after paying it is quite cold. No wifi. No check in after 10pm. I cannot imagine spending there several days camping, can be good for short camp stays.
Booked 2 days before arrival and then couldn't make the arrival date due to fires. Told cancellation must be 2 weeks for refund. SCAM... We are heading back next weekend and will find another park.
