I was there today to find a stain to match what was all ready on my wood railing on my deck. The person that help me was very good at what they do. The first one that help me was very good too. I have to say they all were very friendly and took the time to get it done to match what was on my deck. Tried a little spot on the railing and it looks like they match it. But was raining an not able to do a big spot but what i did is looking good. Thanks for your help in the paint department. Great job.

Absolutely the worst home hardware i have ever had the displeasure of walking into.Completely incompetent staff....they sell us products that they say they have in stock....Only to waste an hour waiting to find out they dont have it.... Them we had to wait another 30 min just to get THE WRONG AMOUNT REFUNDED.....YOU STAFF IS A PRIME EXAMPLE WHY MINIMUM WAGE SHOULD BE LOWERED NOT RAISED....Will never set another foot in that store or spend another penny in any othe Home Hardware ...

Is there a way to give a minus 5-star rating?I had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced at this store. My mom and I bought some garden hoses that turned out to be very low quality. We went back to the Penticton Home Hardware to return the hoses a couple of days later. These hoses (2) cost almost $200. We first went to the Customer Service desk at the back of the store- where returned product is not part of customer service and were directed to the front . So we went to till 3 (at the front). We were told only till 1 did returns. So we went to till 1. AWFUL & RUDE woman on till 1 that had no customer service skills. Basically What do you want? Whats wrong with it? That woman had no idea how to process returns in their system. Other employees came & tried to help her with what to do. None of them even bothered to acknowledge our existence... no hello, no sorry were working on it - just completely ignored us. My conclusion is that Home Hardware has a strategy to make any returns as hard as possible, or the working conditions at that store are so awful, and the training is so bad that employees dont even make an effort any more. Will never go back to this place to get any garden/home repair or any of their products & will make sure that our family, friends, and neighbours dont go back either. Just a hint - if you are a business that wants to compete in the local market - dont treat your customers like this. If they spend their money & take a chance on your product, they have a right to a refund. The customer is always right attitude translates to respect for your customers.

Very Bright and well organized staff very informative and pleasent talking to you not at you.Prices very however i like the one in Penticton depending on the season they stock the shelves and floor accordingly.

Great store, great employees, great selection... But... Why would you close your doors at 6pm on weekdays?? Most people work Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm. It makes it difficult to sell them things when you're closed by the time they get the opportunity to go shopping. Try 7am - 7pm.People need to be able to depend on places being open, otherwise they'll just wait the two days to have things delivered to them at a lower cost from Amazon.
